Hana Taha

Hana Taha is a Research Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she works on the Tech for Jobs program in Jordan in partnership with Correlation One and USAID and the impact of subsidized finance on business development and decision making in low-income districts across Egypt.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, she worked on a community initiative as a co-founder in Cairo supporting vulnerable households through volunteering and food distribution schemes.

Hana holds a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester where she received the Dean’s Award for Achievement.
