Kannan Sobti

Kannan Sobti is a Data Fellow at J-PAL SA, focusing on health and climate research in India. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Associate at J-PAL in collaboration with Harvard University, the Coffee Board of India, and PxD, evaluating the impact of probabilistic weather forecasts on farmers' decision-making. Kannan's earlier experiences include being an RA with EHESS, researching the socio-economic aspects of Auroville in Tamil Nadu and a role as a Data Engineer at Rakuten India, handling big-data analysis projects.
