Vibhav Singhal

Vibhav Singhal is a research associate in the ETS team of J-PAL. He is working on multiple projects but predominantly on the Effluent Trading market in Surat to help reduce water discharge from the industries and motivate them to indulge in water conservation activities.

He is a development economist and he recently completed his master's in development studies with a specialization in development economics. His thesis was on the topic "Impact of Carbon Credit Market on EU's Firm Competitiveness". He is very passionate about climate change and economic growth and wants to help create a sustainable and inclusive growth path for the global economy.
