Unmuktman Singh Bhatia

Unmuktman Singh is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia. He is involved in a project evaluating the impact of flexible, targeted microcredit products.  

Prior to joining J-PAL, Unmuktman worked at Nikore Associates, where he worked on projects at the intersection of gender and development, including assessing India's gender budget, and the gendered burden of unpaid domestic work using the Time Use Survey 2019. 

Unmuktman holds a Masters in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi, and completed his Bachelor's in Economics from the same institute. He is interested in the domains of livelihoods, labour, gender, and sustainable development.
