Aminatou Seydou
Policy Associate, J-PAL Europe
Aminatou is a Policy Associate at J-PAL Europe, where she currently manages calls for proposals and facilitates research partnerships for two humanitarian initiatives: the Displaced Livelihoods Initiative and the Humanitarian Protection Initiative.
Prior to joining J-PAL Europe, Aminatou worked on the Girls’ Education and Empowerment portfolio at J-PAL Africa. She also worked as a Project Assistant with the French Development Agency (AFD) on female entrepreneurial projects in Africa and with other entities, including Afrobarometer and the International Rescue Committee. Additionally, she co-founded a youth-led association in Niger aiming to support orphans and people with disabilities.
Aminatou holds an MA in International Development from Sciences Po Paris and a BA in International Development from Michigan State University. She is also an alumna of the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program.
