Manali Sethi
Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Manali is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia where she works on the Telehealth Project in Bihar with PIs Andrea Guariso, Erika Deserrano, and Amanda Dahlstrand.
She holds a Master’s in Economics and Public Policy from Bocconi University, Italy, and a Bachelors in Mathematics Hons. with a minor in Economics from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. Her research interests lie in the areas of health, gender, and education. Prior to joining JPAL, she interned at United National University in Belgium (UNU-CRIS) and worked on the SDGs local level monitoring initiatives being done globally which further increased her interest in Sustainable Development Goals. She is writing her thesis on SDGs and how developing countries should have a different approach to working toward Agenda 2030.
She is looking forward to learning more from her peers and seniors at JPAL and contributing towards the mission of reducing poverty and inequalities around the world.
