Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Senior Research Associate, J-PAL Latin America and the Caribbean
Aurora Salvador is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL LAC where she works on the implementation and evaluation of an online tutoring program (TOP) for high school students in the Dominican Republic.
Before joining J-PAL, she worked as a Research Associate at IPA on multiple projects related to education, gender, and agriculture, in Peru and Central America.
Aurora holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
