Pedro Rodrigues Oliveira

Pedro Rodrigues Oliveira is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL LAC where he works supporting the “Breaking the Bubble” project. The project encompasses several interventions aiming to study the effect of contact between people with diverse political opinions and racial backgrounds on political and racial discrimination in Brazil.

Before joining J-PAL, Pedro focused on research in the field of public and social policy evaluation. He is currently pursuing a PhD in economics at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he also completed his master's degree and an MBA in Data Science and Analytics. Previously, he completed his undergraduate degree in economics at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV).
