Emma Riley is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Michigan. Her research examines the impact of digital financial services, like mobile money and mobile banking services, on woman-owned enterprises and their households. She also investigates the impact of anti-poverty programs, such as cash transfers and graduation programs, on household welfare and women’s empowerment. Riley received her PhD in economics from the University of Oxford.
