Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Policy Manager, J-PAL South Asia
Vidita Priyadarshini is a Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, where she contributes in efforts to promote evidence-informed policy-making in the region. As part of the Policy team, she leads outreach for the Labour Markets and Firms sectors. Under this mandate, she engages with governments, civil society organisations and the private sector to forge strategic partnerships, set up new randomised evaluations, and disseminate insights from global evidence in the two sectors.
Prior to joining J-PAL in January 2019, Vidita worked as a research consultant for a non-governmental organisation working on civic education. Vidita graduated with a Master of Arts in Political Science from the Central European University (CEU) Budapest, with a certificate in public policy. She also received the CEU Full Masters Scholarship.
