Dina Pomeranz is an Associate Professor of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Zurich. Her research focuses on public policies toward firms and entrepreneurs in developing countries. In particular, she has conducted large-scale randomized field experiments about tax evasion by firms and about determinants and impacts of formal savings for low-income micro-entrepreneurs. She is a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a faculty affiliate at the Center for International Development (CID), and a member of the State Capabilities Programme at the International Growth Centre (IGC).
Dina earned her PhD in Economics from Harvard University and previously taught at the Harvard Business School.
