Amma Panin

Amma Panin is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Université Catholique de Louvain. She studies how risk and uncertainty shape economic decision-making. Panin has a particular interest in understanding how contemporary religious institutions evolve to provide substitutes to insurance and other services that might otherwise be provided by formal markets.

She received a PhD in Economics from the Berlin School of Economics.
