Zeina Osama
Policy Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Zeina Ossama is a Policy, Training and Events Associate in J-PAL Middle East and North Africa, based at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development under the Egypt Impact Lab. In this role, she is part of the gender and labor sectors, working closely with policymakers, donors, and practitioners to facilitate the use of rigorous evidence in the planning and execution of development programs.
Prior to joining J-PAL MENA in 2023, she worked at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development as a senior economic researcher, participating in planning and managing economic research and economic policy.
Zeina holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
