Anna Omura

Anna Omura is the Associate Director of Finance and Operations at J-PAL Global. In this role, Anna manages and supervises proposal development activities, general operations, and in particular the financial operations of J-PAL Global. She works closely with the administrative and IT teams to ensure efficient office systems, including project management of solutions for streamlining operational processes. Anna had previously worked for the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship also at MIT in a similar role. As a co-founder of a candle company in Denver, CO, Anna had managed the factory and distribution center for 13 corporate and franchise stores in the US. Anna served two years in the US Peace Corps in Togo as a Natural Resource Management Extension Agent. She received a Master of Liberal Arts in the field of Finance from the Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Boston University.
