Alejandro Noriega

Alejandro Noriega is a Policy Manager at J-PAL North America, working on the Health Care Delivery Initiative, where he focuses on making the health care system more efficient, effective, and equitable by developing compelling evidence of innovative programs and translating rigorous research into actionable policy solutions.

Before J-PAL, Alejandro held several roles in the Mexican Federal Government, gaining over eight years of experience leading multifaceted teams, and managing complex public-sector programs. Throughout his professional life, his overarching aim has been to empower decision-makers with the most impactful resources and evidence-based solutions.

Alejandro holds a masters in public policy from Harvard University, where he was also an Adrian Cheng Fellow at the Social Innovation + Change Initiative. Additionally, he received a licenciatura en derecho (bachelor of laws) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and is fluent in English and Spanish.
