Joanna Lahey
Joanna N. Lahey is an Associate Professor and holds the C. Boyden Gray Faculty Fellowship. Joanna Lahey received her PhD in economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics from Pomona College in Claremont, California. Joanna Lahey is an expert on age discrimination and the relationship between age and labor market outcomes. Her work also covers the effects of fertility control access. She is the recipient of the 2006 W. E. Upjohn Dissertation award for best dissertation on an employment-related issue and is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Joanna Lahey's work has appeared on American Public Radio's Marketplace and in USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and other media outlets.
