Ahlam Labiad

Research associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Ahlam Labiad is a Research Associate at the Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL), where she ensures the implementation of RCT studies in the field, coordinates with public sector partners, and participates in the analysis of research projects. She is currently working on an RCT aiming to inform policymaking in the Moroccan labor market through a rigorous impact evaluation in partnership with the Moroccan Public Employment Service.
Prior to joining this project in 2024, she worked on an RCT aiming to evaluate the impact of microfinance in the rural world in Morocco. Ahlam holds a Master’s degree in Collective Intelligence from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), a Master’s degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from the Cadi Ayyad University, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Mohammed V. University.
