Ankit Kumar

Ankit Kumar joined J-PAL South Asia as a Research Associate in the Smart Plugs for Energy Demand Flexibility project. He holds a master's degree in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Banaras Hindu University. Ankit has previously interned at J-PAL South Asia, GRAAM, Dasra, ORF, and VANI, where he developed and refined his quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, with a strong commitment to further enhance his expertise in these areas.

Ankit is a strong advocate of grassroots engagement and data and evidence-driven policy processes. Ankit’s core area of interest lies in the field of development economics and sustainable livelihoods. He is a quick learner and strives to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the topics he engages with.
