Kory Kroft is a professor in the Department of Economics and the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. His current research interests include imperfect competition in the labor market, the optimal design of taxation and social insurance policies, the causes and consequences of unemployment, and behavioral welfare economics. He sits on the Board of Editors at American Economic Journal: Economic Policy and is also Associate Editor at the Journal of the European Economic Association, Canadian Journal of Economics and International Tax and Public Finance. He received his PhD from University of California at Berkeley.
