Aman Haider
Research Manager, J-PAL Africa
Aman is a Senior Research Manager with J-PAL Africa, where he manages the implementation of multiple research projects, manages research teams, and ensures the quality and rigor of data collection and analysis. He also works closely with the Senior Leadership on initiatives designed to cater to research projects.
Formerly, as a YLP Fellow at J-PAL South Asia, Aman worked as a Research Manager overseeing RCTs focused on primary education, mental health, and energy & environment.. Since joining J-PAL in October 2021, he contributed to the IDEA initiative by developing knowledge products on administrative data use and advising government partners on data-sharing policies. He has conducted workshops and training on data quality and administrative data utilization.
Before J-PAL, Aman worked with the Transforming Rural India Foundation and PRADAN, focusing on economically disadvantaged districts of India. His work included implementing programs in health and nutrition, good governance, livelihoods, gender, and combating multidimensional poverty.
Aman holds a postgraduate degree in Development Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.
