Rania Fleifel

Rania Fleifel is a Research Associate at J-PAL MENA based at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development under the Egypt Impact Lab, where she works on analyzing and incorporating administrative data in RCT designs to support policymakers with evidence-informed decision-making.

Before joining JPAL in 2023, Rania worked as a Research Assistant at Zewail City of Science and Technology where her work focused on using machine learning techniques to solve wireless spectrum occupancy problems. She published her work on the matter in a reputable academic conference. Rania holds a BSc. degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering from Cairo University and finished her pre-Msc. Coursework at the same university.
