Mazen Mohamed is a Research Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa based at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development under the Egypt Impact Lab, where he is currently working on the evaluation of the technical education reform in Egypt. In addition, he is working on evaluating the impact of a program targeting irregular migration in Egypt. Also, he is supporting in the social protection sector
Mazen holds a double degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne where he also received his Master's degree in Development Economics.
