Armin Falk is Professor of Economics at the University of Bonn. From 2016 until 2023 he served as CEO of the briq Institute on Behavior & Inequality (which has merged into IZA in January 2024). His research focuses on the determinants and consequences of time, risk, and social preferences, sources of inequality, early childhood development, and the malleability of moral behavior. He is Fellow of the European Economic Association and the Econometric Society, Director of the Bonn Laboratory for Experimental Economics, and affiliated with J-PAL, Institute for New Economic Thinking, Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Centre for Economic Policy (CEPR), CESifo, and the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.

Armin received his PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich.
