Yasmine Eid
Research Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Yasmin Eid is a Research Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she work on projects that focus on evaluating the impact of different types of micro equity on the living standards of small farmers and examine the effects of lending with different interest rates on entrepreneurs’ decision making.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, she worked as an Assistant Lecturer of Economics at University of London international program at Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport for two years. She also worked as a researcher at different public and private institutions, including the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center and Abu Dhabi University.
Yasmine holds a Master of Science degree in development economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the British University in Egypt.
