Guillermo Cruces is a professor of economics at the University of Nottingham and the deputy director of the Center for Distributive, Labor and Social Studies at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, where he is also a professor of labor economics. His research is focused on labor economics and distributional analysis in Latin America and the Caribbean, the impact evaluation of public programs, and the economics of perceptions and reference groups. Guillermo received his PhD in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Guillermo has served as a lecturer at J-PAL training events.
