Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Communications Associate, J-PAL Latin America and the Caribbean
Renata Cossio is a Policy and Communications Associate at J-PAL LAC. Through her position, she assists J-PAL LAC in the communication of their policy and research projects to different stakeholders. She also provides support to events and communication strategies, aiding the policy and communications verticals as needed.
Before joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked in education and health non-profit organizations. Renata has a degree in Institutional Communications from Universidade Tecnologica Federal do Parana and a degree in Public Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Decision Analysis from Minerva Schools at KGI.
