Tanay is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia at IFMR, where he actively contributes to the Graduation Program of the Government of Bihar, targeting the eradication of poverty among the ultra-poor. Previously, he held positions at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University, where he played a key role in managing the JEEViKA data infrastructure project. This endeavour aimed to streamline the digitization process for timely decision-making. Tanay also worked with IWWAGE at LEAD at KREA University, actively participating in the SWAYAM project, which focuses on women's economic empowerment. Additionally, he gained valuable experience in child immunization during his tenure at SUVITA. Beyond his professional pursuits, he nurtures his passion for diverse cuisines as a dedicated food enthusiast. Tanay's diverse background, combined with his research expertise and commitment to social impact, positions him as an invaluable professional dedicated to addressing complex challenges and driving positive change. Tanay had completed MSc in Development Economics from University of Sussex.
