Ilf BENCHEIKH
Director, Training, Finance and Operations, J-PAL Europe
Ilf Bencheikh is the Director of Training, Finance and Operations of J-PAL Europe. Having joined J-PAL in 2011, he is in charge of J-PAL Europe's in-person and online training activities. He has organized over thirty courses in a dozen European and African countries (in English and French) and created two MOOCs on impact evaluations and health challenges in Africa. Ilf is also in charge of J-PAL Europe's “Finance and Operations” vertical, which includes establishing new partnerships, working on budgets and overseeing all administrative and human resources aspects.
Before joining J-PAL, Ilf worked for ten years in different countries (Lebanon, Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania, Portugal) and different types of structures (French bilateral cooperation, Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, private company). He holds a Master 2 in political studies from the IEP in Paris and a Master 2 in international cooperation and development aid from the Université Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
