Kuber Bathla
Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Kuber is a Research Associate on the Direct Benefit Transfer for Electricity project in Punjab. Prior to this, he was part of the interdisciplinary Urban Fellows Programme at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, where he worked with the United Nations Development Programme for a project on urban employment schemes. He is interested in questions related to governance, energy, urban poverty and growth, employment and service delivery.
During his undergraduate degree, Kuber interned at organisations such as Centre for Policy Research and Observer Research Foundation, learning research, writing and data analysis. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
He enjoys reading and likes to discuss politics, cricket and startups.
