Mireille Antoun
Research Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Mireille Antoun is a Research Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she works on the Flexible Microfinance Project which evaluates the impact of subsidized finance, and the Edutainment project which evaluates the impact of showing reel excerpts related to the topics of early marriage, and family planning (from the entertainment-education series by the UNFPA program) on changing social norms and behaviors.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, she worked as a Research Assistant with Prof. Adam Osman and she interned with the Egyptian Delegate to UNESCO for six months in Paris.
Mireille holds a Master’s Degree in European Public Affairs from Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne University and a Bachelor degree in Economics and Political Sciences from Cairo University.
