Shaimaa Abdelrazik
Research Operations Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Shaimaa Abdelrazik is a Research Operations Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she is currently involved in evaluating the impact of rebranding work opportunities for women from "employment" to "volunteering" to determine if this approach can increase female labor force participation and promote women's empowerment. This evaluation is conducted in collaboration with the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and Life Makers.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she served as the director of the adult education component at Life Makers. She has also managed and coordinated twelve development projects with various civil society organizations and international entities such as Save the Children, Plan International, and Pathfinder. Additionally, she has extensive experience as a trainer in topics related to education, health, and youth awareness. With 18 years of experience as a project coordinator/manager.
Shaimaa holds a degree in psychology from the Faculty of Arts, Sohag University and has earned two diplomas in mental health.
