J-PAL’s custom courses build skills to help organizations use and produce rigorous evidence in their specific areas of interest. Courses can be designed for a variety of partners, including governments, NGOs, foundations, and multilateral organizations, to meet their learning goals. J-PAL can offer custom courses in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Indonesian. Tailored versions of our flagship courses

Three- to five-day versions of J-PAL’s Evaluating Social Programs and Measurement and Survey Design courses tailored to a particular context or sector provide participants with the tools to rigorously assess program impact and collect accurate, meaningful data.

Evidence to Policy courses

Typically delivered as a two- to three-day workshop, Evidence to Policy courses focus on how to find, interpret, and apply scientific evidence to inform decision-making.

Evaluation incubators

J-PAL’s evaluation incubators combine training with resources and technical support from J-PAL staff and affiliated researchers to guide participants in designing an evaluation of their own program.
