Paolo Pinotti is a professor at Bocconi University. His research interests include applied econometrics, political economics, economics of crime, and immigration. Paolo also serves as the director of the CLEAN Unit on the economics of crime at the Baffi-Carefin Center and coordinator of Fondazione Rodolfo Debenedetti. Paolo also worked in the research department of the Bank of Italy from 2007 to 2011. He received his PhD in economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
