Evidence for Transformation: ATAI Framing Paper

In this framing paper, we lay out an agenda for the ATAI 2.0 portfolio for our donors and our previous and future research collaborators. This framing paper does not endeavor to describe in detail the process of agricultural transformation, nor summarize existing relevant research. Rather, here we introduce a framework for ATAI 2.0 to develop our understanding of how specific microeconomic-level mechanisms may underlie some of the components of agricultural transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia,
thus unlocking the potential of agriculture to drive poverty reduction.
