ESII Partnership Opportunities
There are several possibilities for policymakers and implementers across Europe working to improve the social inclusion of migrants and refugees as well as that of children, youth, and their families to get involved in ESII:
Option 1: Evaluate
J-PAL Europe is seeking implementing partners—such as governments, NGOs, multilateral organisations, and businesses—who are interested in measuring the impact of their programmes through rigorous impact evaluations. Organisations will work closely with J-PAL affiliated professors to design a randomised evaluation—a type of impact evaluation that uses random assignment—of their programme.
Why evaluate?
Participating organisations will be able to ensure that their resources are well allocated and that their actions are truly effective. Evaluations produce clear and credible results which will allow participating organisations to join a growing movement of change-makers that use rigorous evidence to improve the effectiveness of their programmes. These results can generate insights that go beyond the context of the implementing organisation itself and be used by decision-makers and donors at large.
Option 2: Learn
For implementers who are interested in learning more on how to conduct rigorous impact evaluations, J-PAL Europe offers customised trainings that can be tailored to an organisation’s needs.
Option 3: Leverage
Implementing organisations can participate in events with like-minded institutions and experts from across Europe, exchange ideas, as well as co-host outreach events together with J-PAL Europe to promote a culture of better use of evidence and evaluation amongst European partners.
How to Get Involved?
J-PAL Europe invites implementing organisations active in improving social inclusion in Europe to submit a brief letter of interest describing how they would like to become involved in the initiative. This form is also available for download in the Supporting Materials section below.
