Mobile MOUD Services (Pierce County, WA)

Pierce County Human Services (PCHS) in the state of Washington seeks to address the unmet needs of individuals experiencing opioid use disorder in the county. PCHS is partnering with J-PAL North America to evaluate its mobile medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services program, which will use mobile vans to offer counseling and medications to individuals with opioid use disorder. The evaluation seeks to answer how a mobile unit offering MOUD services affects substance usage and community access to the program.
