Breaking the Bubble: The Effect of Contact on Discrimination in the Labor Market
Can contact between people with different attributes and political opinions decrease discrimination in the job market? To answer this question, this project will consist of two large-scale interventions in order to measure the effects of encouraging conversations between different people on the choice of work partners and hiring decisions. The authors believe that the results of this research will provide evidence on a policy that can reduce discriminatory practices at various stages of the hiring process and job search.
