Foundations of Randomized Evaluations: For the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency

In partnership with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), and with support from the European Union, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa (MENA), based at the American University in Cairo, is pleased to offer a training on randomized evaluations and how they are designed in real-world settings for MSMEDA project staff.
Tailored to the needs of MSMEDA project staff, this three-day, in-person training will provide an in-depth look at why and when randomized evaluations can be used to rigorously measure social impact, methods and considerations for their design and implementation, and how findings can inform evidence-based policies and programs. Participants will engage with coursework designed to help them apply learning at MSMEDA through real-world examples and practice exercises.
