Arantxa Rodríguez-Uribe
Research and Policy Manager, J-PAL Europa
Arantxa Rodriguez-Uribe is a Research and Policy Manager at J-PAL Europe, currently coordinating the European Social Inclusion Initiative.
Before joining J-PAL Europe, Arantxa completed her PhD studies at Princeton University. Arantxa’s research lies at the intersection of public policy, conflict, education, and youth. Her current research looks at the consequences on youth’s human capital accumulation of living under the threat of violence and potential policy options to mitigate early school dropout among youth at risk.
Prior to starting her doctoral studies, she worked for four years at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Colombia. During her time at IPA, she managed different randomised evaluations and a qualitative study, and worked as a Project Development Coordinator to develop new research projects in the country.
Arantxa holds a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University, an MPA in International Development from London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Economics from Carlos III University.
