Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.
Our research, policy, and training work is fundamentally better when it is informed by a broad range of perspectives.

Giovanni Di Pietra é pesquisador associado ao J-PAL LAC, onde trabalha no escritório da Jobs and Opportunity Initiative Brazil (JOI Brasil). Tem interesse em pesquisas sobre inovações no mercado de trabalho, economia comportamental e novos métodos em microeconometria aplicada.
Antes de ingressar no JPAL-LAC, atuou como consultor de pesquisa em avaliação de políticas públicas na Escola Nacional de Administração Pública (Enap) e como assistente de pesquisa na FGV EESP e no Insper, tendo participado em diversos projetos relacionados à educação e economia comportamental.
Giovanni é doutorando em economia na Escola de Economia de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP) e graduou-se em economia na Universidade de São Paulo.
