Aïda Alem

Aïda Alem is a Senior Finance Associate at J-PAL Europe where she supports budgeting, grants management and the implementation of agreements with partner institutions.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2024, she was a grants and project management officer in a French public institution. Before that, she worked at UNESCO HQ, within the Youth Section, and interned in different NGOs in France and Morocco.

Aïda holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Development, with a Major in Peace Studies, from Paris Dauphine University, as well as a Research Master’s degree in political sciences, from Sciences Po Paris and the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO), specializing in the Middle East and North Africa. She is fluent in French, Arabic and English and proficient in Spanish.
