Nagla Al Khoreiby is a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa, leading the Humanitarian Action Research portfolio, and supporting government partnerships under Middle East and North Africa's Air and Water Lab—the Hub of Advanced Policy Innovations for the Environment. She supports in synthesizing global evidence into policy lessons for regional contexts and promotes evidence-informed policymaking through facilitating research partnerships.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked in Urban Research, Planning, and Strategic Development in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region.
Nagla holds a double master's degree in Integrated Urbanism from Stuttgart University in Germany and Ain Shams University in Cairo, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the American University in Cairo.
