Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Senior Project Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Yash Dumaswala is responsible for project design and it's implementation on the ground. He takes care of the surveys, maintains the project protocols, assists in team-building, and manage stakeholders. Prior to this, he has worked as a Surveyor, Field Monitor & Field Manager to conduct and manage data collection surveys for further analysis, reporting, and fulfilled project requirements.
Yash holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from C. K. Pithawalla College of Engineering & Technology, Surat. He is a tech enthusiast, and aims to take the project on a greater level by ensuring the impact on the ground.
