Deborah Bizarria

Deborah Bizarria is a senior policy associate at J-PAL. She works on translating research into evidence-based labor market policies, engaging with policymakers, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations at JOI Brasil, an initiative of J-PAL LAC.

Prior to joining J-PAL, she was a Public Policy Coordinator at Livres, leading advocacy and gathering evidence on economic freedom, governance, and individual liberties in Brazil. She has experience in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and research dissemination. Deborah holds a Specialist degree in Public Management from Insper and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE).
