Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.
Our research, policy, and training work is fundamentally better when it is informed by a broad range of perspectives.
Postdoctoral Associate - JOI Brazil, J-PAL América Latina e Caribe
Luiz Felipe Fontes é um pesquisador de pós-doutorado do J-PAL LAC, onde ele lidera o trabalho acadêmico da Iniciativa de Empregos e Oportunidades Brasil (JOI Brasil). Luiz Felipe trabalha com microeconomia aplicada, focando em tópicos de políticas públicas e formação de capital humano. A partir de sua pesquisa, ele procura entender os mecanismos pelos quais choques externos, investimentos e políticas podem afetar o desenvolvimento de capital humano e mitigar iniquidades educacionais e de saúde e mercado de trabalho.
Antes de entrar no J-PAL, trabalhou na avaliação de políticas educacionais e de saúde no Brasil. Luiz Felipe é um doutorando em economia na Escola de Economia de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EESP).
