Andrew Zeitlin is an associate professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. He is also a non-resident fellow at the Center for Global Development and a research associate at the Centre for the Study of African Economics at Oxford University. His research uses field and lab experimental methods to study how individual decision-making shapes state effectiveness, through the design of transfer programs, incentives in public-service provision, and tax policy and administration. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Oxford.
