Christine Valente

Christine Valente is a professor of economics at the University of Bristol and a research affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics. Her research mainly focuses on household decisions regarding human capital and fertility in developing countries, and sheds light on what affects these decisions and on how they can be altered through policy. 

Christine received her PhD in economics from the University of Sheffield and holds a bachelor and research master’s degree from the University of Paris 1-Sorbonne.
