Shrddha Rajesh

Shrddha is a Senior Research Associate with J-PAL, where she contributes to the Aging and Health in India portfolio (TN Aging), focusing on the long-term health and holistic well-being of the elderly in Tamil Nadu. She also contributes to a comprehensive tax administration study, all in close collaboration with the Government of Tamil Nadu. Shrddha works alongside researchers from MIT, Harvard, and Dartmouth, bringing together diverse expertise to drive these impactful projects forward.

Before joining J-PAL in 2022, Shrddha was a Research Assistant at the United Nations University – MERIT and Maastricht University, working on a climate impact project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. She has also completed short-term assignments with IOM, UNDP, and UNDESA.

Shrddha holds a double MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development, specializing in Foreign Policy and Development, from the United Nations University – MERIT and Maastricht University. Additionally, she has completed a MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy from MIT.
