Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Saberi Mallick is a Research Associate on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Study under PIs - Prof. Lori Beaman, Prof. Seema Jayachandran, and Prof. Anisha Sharma. This project studies the scale and frequency of women’s experiences of sexual violence outside the home. Previously, Saberi has been an Intern on two projects at J-PAL South Asia: Market Math and Brand Preferences for Medicines. 

Prior to starting at J-PAL South Asia, Saberi was a Pratham Ti Fellow at the office of Priyanka Chaturvedi, Member of Parliament in India. She has experience in the development sector through positions at organizations such as NITI Aayog, Reach to Teach, and ORF. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Delhi.
