Gregory Lane is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, Harris School of Public Policy. His research interests include development economics with a focus on how new technologies impact agriculture, small firms, and labor markets in low- and middle-income countries. His most recent work examines social protection interventions for refugees. He received his PhD in agriculture and resource economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the Harris School, he was a faculty member at American University.
